If you’re Nap Nanny was purchased after August 15, 2009, the company is asking families to stop use of their Nap Nanny until they view their informational video explaining the proper use of their product along with information on the hazards of improper use.

We want to assure our customers the Nap Nannys we have in stock at Bellani are part of the ones produced after August 15, 2009 and which have the additional safety feature of Velcro straps for securing the outer cover to the inner foam base.  We encourage anyone with a Nap Nanny or considering purchasing one, to use the product in the manner suggested by the manufacturer.  Parents should always avoid use of the Nap Nanny anywhere other than the floor.  The Nap Nanny is not designed to be used inside of other baby equipment (cribs, play yards, etc.).  Bellani will continue to proudly sell the Nap Nanny and hope to allow other families to enjoy the many benefits of this great product.

I did see this recall and I do have the non welcro Nap Nanny, but I have to say, don’t let this recall scare you. I had used it for almost a year and have not had any problems. And yes the information/ warnings do say not to use inside of any baby furniture. For a while we used ours in our bed with us then we would also use in the living room for naps, or down time. We are still currently using in the living room to rest and watch movies for our 15 month old. And yes I will say once we had noticed that our daughter was slipping in the night and moving more we transitioned her to her mattress and she did fine. If you have any questions please ask, we love it and I will cintinue to recommend it to parents who will use it properly.

This looks like an amazing product…my youngest was born with serious ear issues…she got tubes at 8 months. Instead of me sleeping propped up with her wrapped up onto me in the Moby I wish I had owned this!!!

  4. Thankyou for this outstanding piece. I would like to come back in the future. Cheers again
