I have big boobs; during puberty, I went from no boobs to giant boobs. I’ve had a lifetime to figure out how to flatter, hide, lift and support them. Imagine my surprise when I had children and they got even BIGGER! As I’ve continued nursing my toddler, gone through another pregnancy and had another baby, my boobs have been yo-yoing in size.
What I wonder a lot of the time is what they will look like once all the breastfeeding fun is over. My instincts tell me they will not miraculously perk themselves up. I once thought I would never, ever consider getting plastic surgery. I wanted to enjoy what I was meant to look like. However, that was all before I knew what breastfeeding could do to your boobs.
Don’t get me wrong, my boobs look like, well, regular old breastfeeding boobs. But once the they run dry, I’m not so sure they’ll look so appealing. So yes, I think one day I may consider getting some help in perking up again. I’m not saying yes for sure; I’m just leaving the possibility open.
How about you? If you’ve breastfed, do you ever think about getting some assistance in getting the girls up again?

You know, unlike everyone else who breastfed, my boobs just kept getting bigger and bigger. There has been no yo-yo’ing for me. I went from a nice respectable 36D to a 38DDD / G after two children. They have stayed nice and full (fortunately I guess) but hanging a little bit lower and it has been too much for me. I have already told my hubby that I’ll be getting a reduction and a lift as soon as we are done with kids. It used to be for our ten year anniversary but I don’t think I can wait as long anymore!!!
Not so much getting mine up again, but I would love them to be similar in size! My poor boys preferred the right one, so i am lop sided!!!
Mine have become kind of deflated looking since Chloe was born. I don’t know what they’ll be like once she stops nursing, or even after the next baby stops nursing. But, if they were still this floppy, and I had the money, I might consider a lift.
I’ve actually been planning to have breast reduction surgery for a while now. As soon as Anika is done nursing, I hope to go under the knife… I’ve always wanted to get it done though – even before I breastfed. Breastfeeding hasn’t really changed my boobs at all since they were never pretty or perky to begin with.
When you hold your baby for the first time in the delivery room, you should put his lips to your breast. Although your mature milk hasn’t developed yet, your breasts are still producing a substance known as colostrums that helps to protect your baby from infections
