To implant, or not implant…that is my question

istock_000008874867xsmallSo last week the girls and I were sitting around a table at Carabaas Restaurant enjoying a pitcher (or 2, maybe 3) of Sangria talking about life. The topic of “If you could change one thing on your body, what would it be” came up. You know the game, we’ve all played it. It’s fun. You get into the dream world of what would make you feel wonderful and give you what the universe didn’t. Almost if you were perfect (your perfect, not someone elses) what would it be.

The topic had reached me and it was my turn to speak. This wasn’t very hard for me. It was something I have thought about for years, but not very seriously. This is what I would like. I would like to walk into Victoria Secrets or Gap Body and actually have more than one bra that would fit me. I have two choices actually: the ultimate push-up or the training bra. That’s it. Most bras don’t even come in my size. Now I understand if you are a C cup that you would want them to be perky, but come on…give the girl who can’t even fill an A cup something to talk about.

Which leads me to my topic: Implants. Do you do it? Is the surgery worth the outcome? Is the cost worth the outcome? I haven’t personally met anyone who has had the surgery. I would love to know exactly what happens and how they felt about it. In the meantime, I’ll just have to create a bra line myself.

I hear you on the VS…but I have the OTHER problem. I mean really there are girls who want nice bra’s that are a D and at VS its a very SMALL D (more like a C). So I hear ya on those stores. As far as getting implants…hmmm I dont know. But my thought would be why? Are b**bies really THAT important? I guess if it makes you feel better then sure, … Read Moreits a personal decision. But sometimes you cant fit into things bc they are “too big” so now you have another dilemma!! LOL And you’re running right? Try that with big b**bs…hello 2 bra’s! LOL Ive thought about having mine reduced…is that worth the cost? dont know.

A girl after my own heart! Try http://www.lulalu.com. The implants sound tempting, but I know I could never do it. I’m not a fan of elective surgery (after having 2 unwanted c-sections) and even if there are no problems they don’t last forever. I know a few people who have done it and are very happy, however, so to each her own!

THANK YOU JAMIE! I never knew such a place existed. I just looked at their website, it’s like a whole other world.
